Straight answers on cost, Moffetts, collections and coverage. If yours isn't here, ring or WhatsApp 085 819 1847 and ask.

What does pallet delivery cost in Ireland?

There's no flat rate, and anyone quoting one before they know the job is guessing. Price comes down to the number of pallets, how far they're going, how heavy they are, whether the delivery point needs a tail lift or a Moffett, and how quickly you need it there. Send those details through the quote form or on WhatsApp and you'll get a real figure back rather than a range.

What is a Moffett, and when do I actually need one?

A Moffett is a forklift that travels on the back of the truck. It means the driver can offload without anything on the ground at your end. You need one when the collection or delivery point has no forklift, no loading dock and no yard staff to help — which is most sites that aren't warehouses. If you're not sure, say what the site looks like and we'll tell you.

Do I need a forklift on site for a collection?

Not if we send a Moffett-equipped rigid, and not if a tail lift will do the job. Between the two, we can collect from almost any site under its own steam. Tell us what's there when you book and the right vehicle turns up.

How do I book a Moffett collection?

Send the collection address, what's being lifted (baled cardboard, plastics, palletised goods), roughly how much of it, and when it suits. WhatsApp is the fastest — a photo of the load tells us more than a paragraph. You'll get a confirmed collection window back.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Dublin and run nationwide. Dublin and the east go out on scheduled runs; anywhere else in the country is quoted per job, or set up as a regular route if it repeats.

How quickly can you collect?

Same day where the fleet allows, and next day on most standard pallet work. Urgent jobs are worth ringing rather than emailing — we'll tell you straight away whether we can get to you.

What's the difference between next-day and economy?

Next-day is a priority run: your freight moves on the next available truck. Economy fits your consignment onto scheduled routes, so it costs less but takes longer. Both are on our own trucks with our own drivers — the difference is timing, not care.

Do you collect baled cardboard and plastics?

Yes. Baled recyclable material is the core of what Pentium Environmental does. We lift it with the truck's own Moffett and deliver it on to licensed recycling facilities.

Can you do scheduled weekly collections?

Yes — weekly or fortnightly rounds on a fixed day, sized to how much material you actually produce. Most sites that fill a baler settle into a routine collection and stop having to think about it.

Is my freight insured while you have it?

Yes. We carry goods in transit insurance, and recyclable waste movements are handled with the proper documentation. If you need to see the paperwork before placing work with us, just ask.

Do you move house or office furniture?

Not under Pentium — that's our sister company, Fast Moves, run by the same people. Anything that's a household or an office rather than freight goes to them at fastmoves.ie.

What do you need from me to quote a job?

Collection and delivery addresses or Eircodes, the number of pallets or items, rough dimensions and weight, whether a tail lift or Moffett is needed, and when you want it collected. A photo of the load answers half of it in one go.
